Hi friends! I recently decided to leave the Cape Cod gallery I’ve been showing with the past two years. This summer, I’ll be doing a few local pop-ups, showing at a couple of galleries off Cape Cod, and I always welcome studio visits! I’ll probably add a few more workshops to my upcoming teaching roster, too. It’s going to be an exciting year! More soon!

I was recently interviewed by The Museum Memorandum Artist Project!

I also have work at The Captain’s Daughters in Provincetown! And at BBLG Gallery on Long Island!

I’m available for
studio visits by appointment!

“Hocking remains a bit of a magician when it comes to depicting the Outer Cape landscape through precisely measured and perfectly articulated tracts of paint. Step in close and his canvases dissolve; step back and take in the relaxing balm of the scene. ‘I don’t want to be blinded by things over which I have no control,’ says Hocking in a press release. ‘I want to live in radical amazement of what’s before me. I want my paintings to be instigated by joy.’”
